Hello 6ra3-ga,
I've done some preliminary searching and I haven't found any plush
toys that are similar to this style. Can you tell us where you
obtained this bunny originally? How long ago? Where have you tried to
get your replacement? Any additional information you can share would
be helpful. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of toy bunnies on
the market. We need some help in narrowing down the search. I look
forward to your clarification.

Another question. You said, "Got it from Adams" but I'm afraid this
doesn't help by itself. What or where is "Adams"? Thanks.

Mao,
I assume this is the Adams you refer to:
http://www.adams.co.uk/
but I took a good look at their site and couldn't find your daughter's
bunny anywhere. <<sniff>>
Is this the right Adams? How long ago did you purchase it? And do
remember...was it some sort of promotional item, or a mainstream,
off-the-shelf, toy?
If it's out there, we'll find it (I hope).

How big is this bear? It looks like the pink bear is made by the same
manufacturer. Does either of these toys have a tag or label? What kind
of material is the bunny made of? It looks like curly plush or maybe
chennile or terry cloth. I've looked at hundreds of plush toys and
some additional details would definitely help. Thanks.

I meant to ask how big is the bunny? Can you remember when you bought it and where?

Hello 6ra3-ga,
As you can see, I'm getting obsessive about trying to find this bunny
for your daughter. The clarifications gave several new leads. One item
I came across that might have a bearing on your search is this report
about Saudi Arabia banning the importation of plush toys just one
month before you purchased your bunny. I haven't verified yet whether
this ban still stands. I also don't know whether your bunny was
imported or made in Saudi Arabia. I also don't know whether home-made
plush toys were OK after the ban on imports.
Has your search for the bunny been restricted to searching in Saudi
Arabian stores? Are you in Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia bans cuddly toys
Dec. 17, 2003
Saudi Arabia has banned the importation of female dolls and teddy
bears, giving merchants three months to dispose of such stock, a
state-guided newspaper reported Wednesday.
The ban singled out stuffed-animal toys and dolls of brides. It made
no mention of male dolls and it was not clear if these were banned as
well.
------------------------------------------
Let me know if this information has any bearing on what you know about
the availability of stuffed toys in Saudi Arabia.
I look forward to your further clarifications.

Mao --
If, as it seems, you got the item at an Adams Kids store in Saudi
Arabia, have you tried contacting the store for more information about
the product?

Hello Czh,
The ban I haven't heard of, I've lived all my life here and we tend
not to rely on local news from international sources, specially from
countries we're in disagreement with such as Israel.
There are tons of other Bunnies available, it's just that my daughter
can pick hers out of a million and I had bought two of a toy I get for
her, specially one which is as personal as a bunny, but this one I
didn't and I'm paying the price now. ;-)
The shop where I got the bunny wasn't helpful as they're not aware of
what the headoffice plans and where they get their products or if they
can get them again.
I wanted to switch my search to an online source.

More more point. We usually buy two to wash one while she keeps the
other and the reduce the wear and tear on them when they are two.
Once she saw the two in the same room, she was so shocked that we
distracted her and hid one of them. She didn't know there were twins.

Hello again 6ra3-ga,
I've run into a brick wall. I've looked through hundreds of bunnies
from all over the world. I've scrolled through Chinese manufacturers'
sites, online malls, fancy toy vendors and more but couldn't come up
with anything. I've searched for the pink mouse (I've decided it looks
more like a mouse than a bear) and the brown bunny but haven't found
them. I've found a few similar ones but none as flat looking. Your
toys almost look handmade but they both have the cross on the tummy
and similar rounded features that seems to show that they're part of a
special product line. I'm frustrated that I couldn't find your bunny
because I know how important this kind of lovey is to a child.
I'll be happy to resume the search if you can give me some new leads.
Do you have any additional crumbs of information I could latch onto?

Hello Czh,
I'm going to go back and try and find more information on the bunny.
I appreciate the difficulty and I can honestly say I have very few
options other than the help I'm getting here. :-)
Thank you.
