It doesn't look like the county registrar has the names up yet for the
November ballot. See
(http://www.sb-democracy.com/elect/voterreg/officeloc.htm) for contact
information. If someone can prove me wrong about the candidate names,
please do.

I'm a resident of Santa Barbara County. The Board of Supervisors and
other county officials were elected in March, 2002. See

Full election results:

The South Coast Beacon (Goleta, CA) published an article on Aug. 14
about the candidates. However, the article is not online. The filing
deadline has passed for local candidates but challengers had until
Aug. 14 to file where incumbents did not file for re-election. There
is a special recall for 3rd District Supervisor Gail Marshall. So far
the only opponent is retired Sheriff Jim Thomas.

I can only give you the South Coast candidates from this article. The
North County candidates are mentioned in a Lompoc Record article at

http://www.lompocrecord.com/archives/index.inn?loc=detail&doc=/2002/August/06-2238-news14.txt
