Question ID: 534098
I am looking for Canadian consumer's expectations about paying a
premium for U.S. made goods. For example, if a U.S. branded TV set
sells for $100 in the U.S, how much of a premium would a Canadian
consume expect to pay for this same TV? The television is for example
only. I am interested in consumer electronics products but any other
products are also of interest. However, they must be a U.S. brand
product sold in Canada. I am looking for any research reports or
media articles available that would give more insight into this buying
behavior in Canada.

"The consulting firm Palmer D'Angelo found Canadians pay more than
twice as much as Americans for their 27 top-selling generic drugs --
consistent with Food and Drug Administration research which found that
for five of seven generic drugs studied, Canadians pay more than
Americans, in some cases 2 to 3 times more."
