I am an unpublished writer looking to find a literary agent to
represent me for my first novel. Unfortunately, most established
literary agencies accept very few unpublished writers. I need a list
of LITERARY AGENCIES actively looking for UNPUBLISHED WRITERS. These
agencies should NOT CHARGE ANY FEES for reading the manuscript. Please

Start your search for a literary agent with the members of AAR
(Association of Authors' Representatives). I'm suggesting this mainly
because each member has a strict Canon of Ethics to abide by. Number 8
of that Canon reads, "...members may not charge clients or potential
clients for reading and evaluating literary works and may not benefit,
directly or indirectly, from the charging for such services by any
other person or entity."

I know about most of the agents listed in this answer from guides such
as 'Literary Marketplace' or any number of other books on agents and
publishers. This info is readily available and this is not what I
wanted. I wanted to know about NEWLY ESTABLISHED LITERARY AGENTS/
AGENCIES who are ACTIVELY SOLICITING UNPUBLISHED AUTHORS. Most of the
agents listed in this answer are famous literary agencies who take in
very few new clients. I think deeper research has to be done to
unearth agents who are newly established and hungry to take in
clients.

Thank you for encouraging me to stick with this because I think I've
found what you are looking for!  Following is a long list of literary
agencies who are looking for new authors and best of all, they all
agreed to abide by the AAR guidelines (that is important to me and I'd
be reluctant to send you to someone who didn't). I've copied a few
from NY but there are more (some I've already given you).  You'll
still have to find the ones who match your genre.

To Writers:
"On this page I've listed agents who have contacted me specifically
looking for new authors to represent. Most are very specific about the
material they are seeking; however, you would be best served to look
