I am looking for basic stats about the amount of time that the average
american watches tv. whether daily, weekly.... If its available by age
breakup as well great.

How much time does the average American spend watching TV?

According to the South Dakota Department of Health:

-  4 hours per day for young children.
-  Slightly less for older children.
-  29 hours per week for an adult male.
-  34 hours per week for an adult female.
