Can you translate the follow letter from English into Latin American
Spanish for me? Please keep in mind that the audience of the letter is
a female friend (translate accordingly). If possible, I need this by
10pm tonight. Thank you and here is the letter text:

--

My friend, I am sorry and I am sad to discover that you will not be
working here anymore. It was a joy to see your beautiful smiling face
everyday. I wish that we had been able to talk more (and I wish that
you could have told me more about your home country of Bolivia). The
journey of life continues, however, and I wish you the greatest luck
and happiness. This book is a gift to you - in this book are poems
written by one of my favorite authors, Pablo Neruda. I hope that you
enjoy it! Good luck, my friend!

Hi!!

I am a native latinamerican spanish speaker (and my parents are from
Bolivia!!) and here is my translation:

You can change the heading "amiga mía" by "Querida amiga" (dear friend).
The first sentence could be changed by "Descubrir que tú no trabajarás
más aqui me entristeció mucho." (discovering that you will not work
here anymore made me so sad).
Also I suggest you to remove the parenthesis, my proposed letter is:

"Querida amiga:
mayor felicidad.

mis autores favoritos, Pablo Neruda. !Espero que lo disfrutes¡

Hope that this helps you. Feel free to request for a clarification if you need it.

Best regards,

Like English, Spanish have formal and friendly ways to express
yourself, if you are close to your friend the first paragraph is good
for your needs, but if you want to be more formal the second paragraph
is the one you need (in Spanish we used to add high words, like very,
great and really in English when we talk about our feelings, so the
translation from the Spanish to English will sound like I am really
sorry and I am very sad, and it was a great joy to see your ...).

By the way this is just a comment. I am not an expert, but for an
Hispanic person it shouldn?t be difficult to translate what you need.

this is my take on it

Me
Buena suerte amiga.
