I would like the latest information on herpes:

the different types
over-the-counter drugs
prescription drugs
natural/holistic remedies
Eastern treatments
topical products
any information on products and drugs in the research stage.

I am not looking for a written report, only a compilation of solid sources.

Hi Frankiam,

I have compiled a list of all the topics you mentioned. There are no
effective over the counter drugs for herpes. There are over the
counter so-called medicines that may offer some relief from cold sore
pain, but no cure. Neither can I endorse any of the
natural/homeopathic/supplemental treatments. Here they are:

Types of Herpes:

What is herpes

Genital Herpes (HSV II)

Cold Sores

Ocular Herpes I

Chicken Pox

Shingles (Herpes Zoster)

Whitlow (Finger Herpes)

Herpes Encephalitis

Cause of Herpes

Over-the-counter drugs

Over the counter relief (Not cures, not remedies, just palliative relief)

Prescription drugs

Multiple drugs

Isoniplex (Isoprinosine) Vaccine

Cox-2 drugs

Natural/holistic remedies

Eastern treatments

Topical products

Information on products and drugs in the research stage.

LSU Eye Center, Herpes Simplex Keratinitis

Discovery Fund

Herpes Vaccine Study

Two new drugs

Drug study

Hope this helps! If any part of this answer is unclear, please request
