I am looking to purchase property (or land) in Bulgaria on an investment basis. The 2 most important considerations are: A geographical comparison between the capital city, the ski resorts and the coast (and any other notable areas) as to an opinion on the areas with the best potential percentage returns over the next 2/3 years. A comparative judgement on the potential returns and resaleability of different types of properties e.g appartments, houses, off plan developments, land and all variations and permutations thereof. (For example buying land with the intention of obtaining planning permission, to then resell). Also, comments on the following; The raising of finance. Is it easy to purchase off plan? How much deposit is required? How are the payments structured? The procedure and documentation required for arranging a corporate structure to hold property (necessary for non residents) Recommended contacts, such as reputable estate agents and lawyers. Political/economic considerations which could affect prices (e.g joining the E.U.) What are the risks, problems, downfalls,negative aspects? Many thanks Richard |

Richard I'm not sure where you have looked thus far, but you may want to view the off plan property offered by Triumph Holiday Village. The property is located right on the Black Sea coast (150 meters away), and is between the beach and the wooded Stara Planina Mountain. St Vlas & Sunny Beach are only a few minutes drive away and there is a new marina also very close.
