?In response to various media reports that Ringo Starr was angry over
former Beatles-bandmate Paul McCartney for not asking him to perform
at last week's Live 8 concert, Ringo's publicist, Elizabeth Freund,
told Beatlefan magazine that, "First and foremost (Ringo) is not
fuming and had no rancor in any of his comments, only his trademark
wit. He said emphatically that he and McCartney would not play
together, the same way he used to be emphatic about he and Paul and
George Harrison not playing together."
