Hi,

A few years back, when I was still a high school kid, I met this
wonderful girl from Mexico that I liked a lot (her name is Brizna
Castro), but who I didn't really have a chance to get to know very
well. We had been in contact for a few months after that, but the
email-writing eventually stopped as life took its course for both of
us. Imagine both my surprise and frustration, when I heard again from
her about a year ago, but this time there was no return e-mail
address! I've been trying to look her up using her old Hotmail e-mail
address, but it's not valid anymore. Unfortunately, there are not a
lot of resources out there for a person like me, who does not speak
Spanish, to find a person in Mexico. Please help me find this great
woman by pointing me in the right direction! What resources are
available to me, both free and for a fee?

Dear findbrizna,

Have you already tried the telephone directory of Mexico? And by the
way, is Brizna Castro her full name or is it only the short version?
Maybe her full name is something like Brizna Joselyn Castro Castillo
or the like. Knowing the full name might be essential for successfuly
searching a person.

I also must point out that for reasons of privacy protection, Google

Victorarce-ga,

Now that you are mentioning it, I am 90% positive she is from Mexico
City (she mentioned it once or twice during our conversations). Also,
she is around 24-26 years of age, and may be in a college/university.
Will tip generously if you're successful! Thanks.

I know Brizna Castro. Kinda petit, about 1.60m (hey, we are from
Mexico, remember?) green eyes girl. And i can help you, but first you
have to tell me where and when did you meet her? wich country are you
from? how old are you? Come on, you have to tell me a little (or not
so little) about yourself...

What's up Ihamp!

Are you and victorarce-ga the same person or what? Your description of
Brizna sounds accurate - do you know her in person? Anyway, since you
wanted to know more about me, here it is. I'm 23, live and work in
Boston, but I was born in Moscow, Russia. I immigrated to the United
States around 16 years of age, so I've been residing in Massachusetts
for almost 8 years now. I met Brizna around that time, we didn't hang
out or anything since she had to leave in a couple of days. We did
stay in touch for a few months, but the emailing eventually stopped. A
few years later I got an e-mail from her, which unfortunately lacked a
return address (and I thought that only happens with Mexican mail ;).
I was pleasantly surprised to know that she still remembered me, but
really disappointed that I could not answer. Ever since that e-mail
I've been occasionally thinking about her and researching the web for
ways to track her down. Google Answers did not disappoint! Actually,
this was my last attempt at finding her - I kinda decided that if this
did not work, nothing else would.

I got my Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in the field of
Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (DNA, proteins, genetic engineering -
this sort of stuff). I work at Harvard University in a lab that
studies a form of cancer that results from an inherited genetic
mutation. I live in a Greater Boston town that's not too far from the
downtown area. Thinking about going to grad school in a couple of
years.

So now that my letter sounds like an online dating site application I
hope you are satisfied. Needless to say, I'm very encouraged by your
response, and looking forward to your next reply. I'm not even sure if
she still remembers me or whether she cares to maintain contact, but
I've got nothing to lose. There were few women in my life that
genuinely interested me, and Brizna is one of them. Take care!

Hi Brizna,

I am glad I was able to find you. Sorry if it does seem a little
surprising. I would love to correspond with you further, but I do not
know your e-mail address. I understand you do not want to post it
here, so if you wish, you can send it to me at a_lipovsky@msn.com.
Thanks!

Alex
