In 1947 Phil Harris recorded a song called "That's What I Like About
the South." One verse of the song goes like this:

"Did I tell you 'bout the place called Doo-wah-diddy
 It ain't no town and it ain't no city
 It's just awful small, but awful pretty
 That's Doo-wah-diddy"
