I paid this company over $4500 to help with my job search, thus far I
received a generic resume inwhich recruiters find useless. In addition
I have not received the any of the services I was promised in the
contract.

Does anyone have any experience with BH Careers International. It's
been over 8 months and I still have not found a position using their
system.

BH Careers International is the new name of Bernard Haldane &
Associates. Here are some links describing other customers' experience
with this company.

Name change doesn't change criticism

Complaints dog Bernard Haldane successor

BH Careers International apparently still has a ways to go to escape
the consumer problems that dogged its predecessor, Bernard Haldane &
Associates.

The company remains the target of criticism by customers and some
former franchise holders. Two states, Illinois and Minnesota, have
active lawsuits against Bernard Haldane. And in June, AARP issued a
consumer alert concerning Bernard Haldane.

The posh offices of TCM International are located in the Wells Fargo
building near the Galleria.

The firm purports to offer career-counseling skills to unemployed
professionals accustomed to substantial salaries. Last year, it was
called Bernard Haldane Associates; three months ago, it was BH
Careers. Sometimes it was two different names at the same time. A May
8 classified ad in the Houston Chronicle calls it TCM International,
but a May 25 confidentiality agreement signed by a schnook identifies
it as Bernard Haldane Associates (Haldane).

1melanie-ga,
I totally understand your feelings and I have filed an action with the
Attorney General of California, am I correct in thinking you are in
GA?
Please do not let this company get away with this again...

annjca-ga,

Could you let me know what procedures you are following to file a
complaint on BH Careers. It's been over 6 months and I have'nt heard
a thing from them. They took my money and made all kinds of promises
and nothing. Not even a follow-up call.

To 1Melanie-ga
Find the address of your local Attorney General and writ a letter to
him/her explaining the problem you will be given a case number and
then they will investigate, it will help if you inclose some
information that shows other people are having the same issues and
that they have been sued prior

I'm going through the process now, and just wanted to let you know
that you are not in this alone. There are thousands, maybe even
millions of us who have been scammed by Bernard Haldane and its
numerous dba's. The list is too long to mention. It's a tiring,
scary and upsetting process, but you have to go through with it. Just
hang in there, you have more support in this than you'll ever imagine.

Like you, I'm another BHC victim in California. Does anyone know if
there is any web site or support group for victims of BHC?

Hi there check out ripoffreport.com
Also in the UK they have changed their name to templereid - in one
advert they claimed they actually had jobs ( I know from bitter
experience that this is BS) but they changed it
If you need any help getting your money back you need to complain
directly to Jerry Wienger - threaten to sue and don't back down

There are so many dba's on this company it's not even funny! I'm sure
that there are numerous locations in all states. It's sad to think
that anyone would rip you off and make it look like they are actually
trying to help you. This company had me so convinced that I was being
underpaid, and that they could increase my salary by $10,000!!!!!! I
was in tears, believing that my former employers were just using me
and underpaying me for all those years!!!! And to top it all off . .
. the employees that I met told me that they were all former clients
and found their ideal jobs right there in the company and that they
could help me too!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA

I hate to hear that other people have lost money and not got the
results promised. I have tried the Attorney General, Federal Trade
Commission and BBB with no results whatsoever. I cannot believe there
is nothing any agency can do about a company like this. Afterall,
what they are doing is illegal. If you aren't satisfied with a
product or service you normally get your money back, not at BH
Careers. I know they have a class action suit and numerous complaints
I wish I would have known about before handing them a couple grand for
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I was set up with a counselor that did not want
to discuss my professional goal, but instead wanted to chit chat about
nothing. I had to keep him on track. They are using different names,
but they still are the same. BH Careers or Bernard Haldane, it
doesn't matter which name, they are still a company that needs to be
addressed by higher authorities. I guess the best thing to do is
refer people to websites that tell of their lack of service if you
know of someone considering them for professional assistance.

I too am a victim of this company's Scam. They ripped me off over
$5,000 just like many other thousands of people.

Yes I have the same experience....paid them around $4500, no leads, no
interviews, no job. The resume these people have you design was
useless to all who reviewed it. Was with them for well over a year.
Yes, very few may have found work, however, their practices are
deceptive at best;the great majority of the job seekers that get
pulled in do not get anything. I just received an e-mail from a
company not BH but CPT enterprises in Atlanta.....same address and
suite number as Haldane had. I know it is BH International's shadow.
Person heading it was the same person heading Bernard Haldane and
Associates.

There seems to be a lot of folks who encounted BH in GA. Other states
have filed class action suits, "Would there be a reason not to pursue
one in GA"

Do you have some kind of reference or case number so that I can add
my experience and evidence to the action you have filed with the
Attorney General of CA? I was abused by BHCareers San Jose office and
would like to add my experience to their investigation.

I am sorry to here about all this, Ironically I just got a phone call
from BH out of Sacramento CA and they had previously sent me a letter
by mail. As we spoke I googled the company and found this message
board. Thank goodness for internet access. Anyway I have just received
my bachelors degree from Stanislaus State Uni of Califorina in Dec and
am looking for work. There is a good websit that I have had job offers
and for all their benefits it cost me about $85 called eresume.com.
There is a reume they help you make but is generic, but once you fill
it out they submit it to 100,000s or other work related sites. I have
got results and turned down a few jobs because they were in West
Virgina and other areas far from California. I hope this will help
others in their career search. I am still looking and am in the
process of taking the CBEST for being a substitue teacher, all you
need is a BA or BS degree and pass this test. Good Luck and God Bless
!!
