Hello jkm1317-ga,

You asked, "I am not getting a responce, any tips or advice?? This is
important to me."

Your question is interesting and I think researchers might be able to
find you the answers you need but the price you've set is not
appropriate to a complex, multi-part question. I suggest that you take
a look at these sites and either limit the scope of your question or
increase the price. Good luck.

Hello jkm1317-ga,

My preliminary research shows that there are different regulations for
different types of nursing homes. This is the list of possible nursing
facility designations. Which kind are you interested in? The answers
to all your questions depend on what kind of facility you're planning
to set up. Also, what are the geograhic limits of "the immediate
area"? What research have you done already? Any background information
you provide will help us get you the information you need.

Nursing Facility
Specialized Nursing Facility For Mentally Retarded Persons
Specialized Nursing Facility For Alzheimer's Residents
Alzheimer's Disease Special Care Disclosure Act
Residential Care Home
Assisted Living Center
Continuum Of Care Facility
Adult Day Care Center
Hospice
Home Care Agency
Hospital-based Skilled Nursing Unit

I look forward to your clarification.

The desired type of facility would be one of the following:

Residential Care Home

Home Care Agency

I am not sure what the difference is between the two. However,
further explanation would be that the goal here is to take a house and
convert it to a nursing facility for immobile elderly, who would
otherwise be in an institutional nursing home. This would be a
residential nursing home. THe ideal patient would need assistance
with daily life, but not necessarily urgent/emergency care.

"Also, what are the geograhic limits of "the immediate
area"?"

Well, not sure what you are looking for here, but this is a
residential facility, with major hospitals approximatly 10 miles away.

"What research have you done already?"

THe research done, is that I have had this happen with my family where
my grandfather was in one of these. It was a much better scenario
than an institutional facility.

Hope that helps!!

Thanks!

Hello jkm1317-ga,

Thank you for the additional information. I think you've given us much
more to go on. I'm asking about "mmediate area" because in your
original list of questions you included "How many competitors are in
the immediate area?" and I'd like to know how you define this. I look
forward to your clarification.

jkm1317-ga,

Sorry to hear that you're feeling frustrated with the service here.
We do try our best, but some questions are simply more elusive than
others.

This one, in particular, is asking for both a legal analysis as well
as a report on market conditions. This would, frankly, be a large
undertaking, and my 'researcher instincts' tell me that part of it --
the market information -- would be hard, if not impossible, to come up
with.

Perhaps that is why the question has gone unattended, thus far.

However, there is some information available from the state on
licensing requirements for different types of nursing home facilities.
 You can see this here:

Long-Term Care Programs in Oklahoma

Hope that at least helps in getting you started.

Good luck.
