I live in South Florida. During the summer I had a case of cola cans
explode in the back of my car due to the heat. Cola everywhere!

What would be the best and easiest way to get rid of the dried cola stains?

Thx

Dear tomster1957-ga;

Thank you for allowing me to answer your interesting question. I?d
like to give you some helpful hints that reportedly work best in
situations like yours:

Try dabbing the stain with a clean cloth soaked in white vinegar then
cleaning the area as usual. It works best if the stain is 24 hours old
or less but it can?t hurt to give it a try. At the very least it might
lessen the stain so it can be removed by a follow-up method:

This source suggests treating the stain with Club Soda before using a
follow-up cleaning method to help remove the stain more easily:

Another source recommends using a mixture of shampoo with water and vinegar.

Some really serious research went into this experiment. The study
compared the products Castrol Super Clean, 409 and Resolve for
cleaning cola stains. The end result was the Resolve worked better
than the other two and was best suited for the job.

There is also a product called Motsenbocker's Lift Off that is
designed to remove dried stains of various types (such as cola and
other foods) from all surfaces including clothes, furniture, and
carpets by breaking down the stain and lifting it up above the fibers
so it can be more easily removed.

any questions about my research please post a clarification request

final comments and I look forward to working with you again in the
near future. Thank you for bringing your question to us.
