My fave fast food item has always been the Zantigo Cheese Chilito. The last time I was able to indulge in one of these was on that fateful day in 1986 when they closed them down(after Taco Bell bought them out through KFC). It can't be that hard to make. Does anyone know the recipe (preferably someone that has worked there)? |

Thanks so much for that link...I copied the phone number. The only thing is that the description of the chilito in that article was very 'chili-ish'. The original chilito is more of a cheese concoction and it has some sort of underwhelming green substance that very well might be some sort of chili (but the color is nowhere near brown). The consistency is more of a whipped and gooey cheese concolction that has some sort of airy-green substance in it. |
