Question ID: 592964
I am looking to buy a hard-to-find CD online. It's a radio promotional
CD given out in Brazil to promote the band Oasis. The CD I am looking
for is pictured here with additional information:
http://www.oasiscollectors.com/music-promos/brazil/goletitout.htm - I
have tried eBay, gemm.com, eil.com, musicstack.com, and other rare
record stores wil no luck. It can probably be found in some Brazilian
music store, but I don't speak or read Spanish. I am looking for an
online link or e-mail to a store who is willing to sell it so I can
contact them. Can you find this item for me?

Dear Ethan,

The link you've given doesn't work for me. Is that the same promo CD?

Hmmm.. the link works for me:
http://www.oasiscollectors.com/music-promos/brazil/goletitout.htm

Anyway, that link you gave me is not the one I'm looking for. It's
catalog number in Brazil is 899.828, is a white CD that comes in a
black slip sleeve, and has one track called "Go Let It Out"

Update: I've found the CD was for sale on a Brazilian eBay-like site,
but the sale has already ended.

I will keep looking, but quite frankly, also in Brazil, these things
are not likely just to come up frequently.

I could refer you to that site, but somehow I feel that this is not
enough for a $200 question ;-) An idea might be to write an ad to
Brazilian music forums/sites (like the one where I've found it) and
say that you're looking for it.

Is it possible you could show me that site that had the ended auction?
I just want to take a look at it, but I'd like you to keep looking for
a place to buy it if possible too. Let me know if you can provide that
info for free while I keep the question open until its answered.
Thanks!

search www.mercadolivre.com.br and www.arremate.com.br (actions sites)
sometimes you could find there the Cd that you want. Also look at
http://www.ventania.com.br/index_us.htm. It´s a rare record store in
Brazil. Send an email to them.Certainly they have or will find for you
this "brazilian promotional cd".
