I need a complete list of laptop (notebook) manufacturers, makes and
models. These only need to be for computers that are for sale in the
US.  This list should not include any desktop computer makes and
models (laptops/notebooks only).

The list needs to be in this format (with a single space between each
and a hard return at the end of each line):
Manufacturer Make Model

For example:
Dell Inspiron 700M
Sony VAIO TX651P/B
Apple ibook G4
...and so forth.

One item per line please.

68   Apple models

That looks like you've covered the major ones.

Can you include all of the manufacturers listed at this page?  (If
they apply, there are probably some miscellaneous electronics
manufacturers listed in there that don't actually make laptops)

I found another source for laptop models and it seems that my first
source isn't complete. My new source shows over 850 Compaq laptop
models and more than 300  Acer laptop models.

I am going to release my lock on this question so that another
researcher can give you a complete answer.

To clarify this question, I would need a list of laptop manufactures,
makes and models that are *currently for sale*, from these
manufacturers.  If there are more than 300 current laptop models for
any one manufacturer, you can cut it off there.

When you say models "currently for sale", there are only a few of them
for each of these manufacturers. On the Acer website, I counted about
more than 20 models are currently offered.

are still on the market. I recommend referring to the ones listed at
