We're trying to find a brand of relish.... we might have the name
wrong, but we believe that the person was saying "Grandma Ding's". We
want to find out how to order this relish.

My initial search didn't turn up anything useful. It might help if
you'd tell us everything you remember about this product. Where and
when did you hear about it? Do you know what type of relish it is
(i.e. sweet pepper relish, hot pepper relish, tomato relish, corn
relish, etc?) Is it likely to be a local product made in your area,
and if so, approximately where do you live? The more clues we have,
the better.

We don't know very much about it.... The bartender at a local
restaurant told us it was the secret ingredient in their guacamole.
It is probably a sweet pickle relish. He thought that it might only
be available in institutional sizes (but, we're hoping he's wrong
there). We are in Phoenix.

Hi there,

I believe what you may be referring to is called "Grandma Chapman's
Pepper Relish," which is a product produced by Barry Farm Brand. It
comes three flavors, namely regular, spicy, and atomic pepper (wow!).
These products can be ordered from the following page:

http://www.barryfarm.com/relishes.htm . Alternatively, the farm can
be reached at:

Barry Farm Enterprises
20086 Mudsock Road
Wapakoneta, Ohio 45895

I also have a listing for a Grandma's Green Tomato Sweet Relish, which
can be purchased here at Sutton's Bay Trading Company:

http://www.suttonsbaytrading.com/Various_and_Sundry/50814.html

Sutton's Bay Trading Company
1241 North Wells St.
Ft Wayne, IN 46808
1-888-747-7423

Last but not least, there is a company called Dr. Hot which produces
hot pepper relishes (including corn and sweet pepper versions) under
the title "Grandmother's" -- they are available through Yahoo!
Shopping:

http://search.shopping.yahoo.com/search/all/__y=s:22708228,d:14489115,p:s,l:search?is=1&p=grandmother+relish&tool=0&did=

These are the only relishes commercially available online at the
moment, utilizing the sources I have, which contain the word "grandma"
or "grandmother," and "relish" in their title. There are no pages on
the Web which contain "Grandma Dink," "Grandmother Dink," "Grandma
Ding," "Grandmother Dink," "Ding relish," "Dink relish," "Momma Ding,"
"Momma Dink," or any other variation. While it's possible a product
exists with this title, it does not seem to be available online.

I hope I have located your relish! If not, please request a
clarification with more product details or a refund. Thanks for using
Google!

Unfortunately, I don't think any of these are what we want.... the
real answer should at least sound like "grandma dings". It was a
little noisy but, I'm sure that the name is right or very close, just
not sure if it would be "gramma" or "grandma" or "dings" or "dingz" or
variations like that.

Yes, unfortunately I tried a second time and did not come up with your
answer -- I'm fairly sure this product is not available online, unless
the name is different from what you suggested and my variations.
Please request a refund. Sorry I could not be of assistance! I wish
you the best of luck finding this product.
Reason this answer was rejected by minigirl-ga:
Researcher was unable to find the specific brand that I'm looking for.

If this relish is an ingredient for a "secret recipe" then perhaps
Grandma Ding is one of the staff at the restaurant, and you won't
find Grandma Ding's Relish retailed anywhere.
