Basically, hinduism is not a religion. Its a way of life. It is an
encrypted way of explaining science. Most probably, people outside
India will find it difficult to understand hinduism as the whole
concept is entirely different to them. Hinduism explains almost every
part of the universe. It is very much like prophecy and understanding
it depends very much on the intelligence of the individual. For
instance, Hinduism states there was nothing (maya or nothing), from
which emerged one god (shakti or energy). This gave birth to two gods
(siva - destruction or negative energy and vinnu - positive energy).
Vinnu, under the influence of siva is responsible for all life. Vinnu
has ten forms, the first one being aquatic, the next being amphibian,
third, a primitive terrestrian, then a half human - half beast, short
human, aggressive human, typical good natured human, not so good
natured human, cunning human, half human - half machine. These can be
exactly traced to the evolution theory.
Another postulate of this is there are four universes. These four
universes repeat in time. each universe has its own space. This is
comparable to modern parallel universe theory and almost precisely
explains space-time. It is very unfortunate that a lot of texts have
been lost due to ignorance, natural calamities and various human
factors.
In reply to your question, hinduism has different effects on different
people. To those who understands it, it is everything. It gives
unlimited knowledge and power to those who fully understand it. To
those who understand parts of it, it is confusion, because, they know
it is upto something and instructs them to do something, but they are
not sure what it is. To those who dont understand it, it is a
primitive enforcement to control people, divide them and enslave them.
In short, the effect of hinduism is very much dependent on the level
of understanding and intelligence of the individual. It is very hard
to believe that it is not a religion. |
