I briefly saw a part of a music video the other day and I thought the
concept of the video was very interesting. The video goes like this:

There is a man walking through the city. He sees a red digital
countdown clock floating above the head of everyone else -- a clock
that counts down the time that they have left to live. There is an
elderly woman on a stretcher...her clock says 10 seconds and she soon
dies afterwards. There is a pregnant woman with a floating digital
clock over her belly. However, the man does not have a clock of his
own (he is "dead" in a way). Later, he saves a woman on the street
from a falling object and as he walks away, a clock appears over his
head.

What is the band and the title of this song? THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Hello.

The song is "Savin' Me" by Nickelback.

Here's a description from Wikipedia:

"In the music video for the song, a man is saved by a stranger from
getting hit by a bus and ends up seeing strange timers over all the
heads of the people he sees on the street - except for him. He
attempts to find out what these timers mean, but cannot reveal their
meaning, until an old lady dies and her timer reaches 0:00:00., after
she was just loaded into an ambulance, during the guitar solo. He
makes the connection the the numbers in the timers are an indicator of
how long the people have to live..."

Various web sites such as MTV and AOL have the video:

http://music.aol.com/artist/main.adp?artistid=410589

-----
search strategy:
video "timers over * heads"

I hope this helps.

Google Answers didn't parse that Wikipedia link correctly. You'll
need to add that last parenthesis to it, or visit this url:
