I posted this question some time ago, but I'm going to up the bounty.

I'm looking for an internet- or catalogue-based company from which I
can definitively purchase a Texas-shaped waffle iron.

I've seen them in San Antonio and several hotels & restaurants in
Texas. I'm looking for any retail, auction, online, store front, or
mail order shop that
carries these waffle irons, keeps them in stock, readily offers them for sale,
and will accept my phone order, online order, or mail order.

I'm just being specific with this, because if you know a store in San Antonio
that sells them, but I can't mail order from them, then it doesn't
help. If your mother owns one, but won't sell it, also...not that
helpful. If you ate a Texas-shaped Waffle at the Houston
Marriott...cool, but it just makes me bitterly jealous knowing that
others are out there enjoying Texas-shaped waffles while my own
hankering for golden syrupy Lonestar treats goes unfulfilled.

A final clarification: I'm aware that many of these waffle irons were
issued as promotional items by restaurant supply companies. Giving me
the name of the restaurant supply company does not qualify as an
answer, because I can't order 10,000 of these to hand out to clients.
This must be a RETAIL outlet so I can buy 1 waffle iron to make
waffles and only waffles.

Texas-shaped cake pans do not count either.

Thanks!

I don?t know if this will result in a solution for you but if it does
I?d appreciate it if you?d let me know:

Some time back a guy named Doyle Beck, owner of the Shawnee,
Oklahoma-based ?Waffles of Oklahoma?, teamed up with Shawnee-based
?Gordon Cooper Technology Center? (with the help of Richard Huff) to
create two custom-made waffle irons as gifts for Oklahoma Governor and
Mrs. Frank Keating in the shape of a GOP Elephant head and a heart
(respectively).

It is worth noting that Richard Huff of the "Oklahoma Alliance for
Manufacturing Excellence" coordinated the creation of the custom-made
waffle iron for Keating by teaming Beck and Gordon Cooper Technology
Center with welding instructor Tommie Daniel.

Upon visiting the Beck?s website I noticed that he invites Restaurants
and Wholesalers to contact them directly about projects they might be
interested in.

Otherwise you might try to consult with Gordon Cooper Technology
Center to see if they can create the same type of custom product for
you, and/or give you some guidance on how how you might manufacture or
purchase such a waffle iron in quantity.

Please let me know if this results in a solution.

I'm sorry, but I asked a pretty specific question. And I included
this information:

"Giving me the name of the restaurant supply company does not qualify as an
answer, because I can't order 10,000 of these to hand out to clients.
This must be a RETAIL outlet so I can buy 1 waffle iron to make
waffles and only waffles."

Your research, while thorough, is entirely discounted by above. These
are not retail outlets with waffle irons on the shelves. And that is
the only answer I seek to this particular question. Sorry.

Yes. I realize that. My information was posted merely as an
alternative answer given the apparent fact that what you are seeking
doesn't seem to exist.

Sorry I couldn't help.

If you comprehended the specific nature of my question, then why are
you bugging me, bonehead?! I don't like to see "needs attention" just
because YOU need attention! Go find someone else to lavish affection
upon you.

Well, last time I posted this, someone pointed me to a waffle-iron
maker in Hong Kong who could get me a good deal on 10,000 Mickey
Mouse-shaped waffles. I'm being super specific this time!

Also, having learned that Texas is the second most obese state in the
nation, I feel like I'm falling behind without daily helpings of
Texas-shaped waffles.

I looked the last time you asked this question, including calling a
place in San Antonio that someone thought had them. No luck, I'm
afraid.

Yah, this one's a stumper. I really thought it'd be much easier than
it has been. Honestly, this is going to be a great business
opportunity for someone.

This may not be what you have in mind but wouldn?t making your waffles
in a normal square shape and then cut them to the Texas shape that you
want work for you?

How inviting. Your last clarification is a very unique approach. I'm
sure help will be coming out of the woodwork now.

I don't know what happened to the earlier question. There were quite a
few comments that covered the same territory that the researchers are
encountering again. The repetition of useless suggestions could have
been avoided it the previous question hadn't been removed.

I'm supposed to be nice to the researchers? I don't buy that. I'm
offering $50 for an answer to a very specific question. Researchers
can choose to answer or not. They can find the money worthwhile or
not. It's a free market. If certain researchers want to be so
entirely pricinpled that they resist the temptation of my evil
dollars, so be it! One would have to be wicked to work for the devil.

Such gall! Who do you think you are that $50 buys you the right to
disrespect people? did you not see that some work went into that post?
Higher paying questions than yours have gone unanswered, and those
people were even a lot nicer. i hope you never find that waffle iron.
i also hope the answerers here ignore any other q's of yours like you
got the crabs no matter how much money you wave in the air. Serves you
right.

you said One would have to be wicked to work for the devil. that's
exactly why you won't get any answer i bet.
