Take the bus. You are a guest in our country. Please respect our
laws; don't circumvent them.

The bus doesnt route to my place, i have to walk far out and take 3
bus one way to school and 3 bus back. takes probably more than 2
hours or so... that wouldnt be very convinient.

you could try and locate people close to where you live who travel by
car to your campus to see if you can share a ride. (oh and of course
offer to share the price of the petrol)

Like Horatio I don't have much sympathy for your predicament.

Which country and state are you talking about?

If you apply for a driver's licence in another state or international
driver's licence you will probably be asked questions relating to
convictions/suspensions and other licences held. There are usually
penalties for false and misleading information. And breaking the law
in another country could result in deportation.

You just don't get it, do you? We want you off the roads. You are a
dangerous driver.

You don't mention where you are residing. I am in New York, so let's
use the info. from here.
http://www.binghamton.edu/isss/new/ForeignDriversLicensesandDrivinginNewYorkState.htm
and http://www.nysdmv.com/LICENSE.HTM#International.

In order to get a NYS license on has to surrender the foreign license.
In order for the International Driving Permit to be valid, it must be
accompanied by the foreign license. The permit itself does not allow
driving. Rather it verifies the foreign license.

Looks like you are S.O.L. Of course as a foriegner studing in the
U.S., you must have money, so take the taxi.

If you have insurance you must tell the insurance company you have
lost your licence. It's called "Duty of Disclosure".

I am assuming you are in Western Australia studying, until you are more specific.

Perhaps you could try paying someone to drive for you, just make sure
they have a current driver's licence. I am also assuming you have your
own car.
