Question ID: 740933
I am looking for a science-fiction or thriller ghost-writer to write a novel
for me. For the purpose, I need a list of 100 freelance writers with
some accomplishments in the field.

I am interested people that are reachable and still actively working and do
or did the following:
 * write or contribute to episodes for sci-fi TV series, e.g. Star Track,
X-Files, etc.
 * write novels based on computer games, e.g. StarCraft
 * write novels for book franchises, e.g. Tom Clancy's crew
 * write scripts for comic books or novels based on comic books
 * write storyboards for computer or role-playing games, e.g. Homeworld
 * wrote acclaimed fan-fiction

I need the emailsand possibly the web sites and the phone numbers of the
writers, along with a short note on what exactly did they do in order to
make it into the list.
There is no answer at this time.

Compiling such a list is likely to take several days of work. The
Researcher who answers your question will earn $75. Is there a reason
why 100 names are required? You'll be more likely to get an answer if
you scale this back considerably.

It's highly unlikely that writers with the background and skills you
desire will be interested in ghost writing your story. Honestly,
writers have more of their own ideas than they can possibly find time
to write. A beginning writer might be willing to ghost write your
material, but it's quite unusual to ghost write any type of fiction
(as opposed to nonfiction). Your best bet is to advertise for a ghost
writer. If you're interested in finding excellent places to place such
advertising, I could provide a list.

Good luck!

I am not actively researching your question. My comment above was free
of charge. I just wanted to point out that requiring 100 names may
make it less likely that you'll get an answer.

Additionally, a quick search yeilded this valuable advice:

Where ghostwriters lurk
..."You can find ghostwriters the hard way or the easy way. The hard
way is to locate writing or authoring organizations in cities around
the globe, and interview writers until you find one that you believe
is qualified to write your book.

The easy way to find a ghostwriter is to go to an Internet site where
ghostwriters are hanging out, ready to respond to classified ads. You
place an ad for your project, and you wait for bids to come in. Two
large sites with gobs of ghostwriter of traffic are Elance and Guru.

A third way is to contact ghostwriting companies directly.

Of the avenues available, I recommend going through one of the large
sites that have high ghostwriter traffic. Sometimes these types of
sites are called freelancer databases, ghostwriter banks, freelancer
job banks, or similar.
Get ghostwriters competing for your ebook..."
