Who played the "Big Brother" character in Apple's "1984" commercial
produced by Chiat/Day? (Quicktime of commerical:
http://www.uriahcarpenter.info/1984.html)  I've found most of the
other players involved (Anya Major, Ridley Scott, etc.), but no
positive mention of Big Brother.

Hi dacut-ga, and thanks for your question.

I too was unable to locate any information about who played this role
anywhere online after a long search.  I finally contacted the ad
agency that put the ad together.  According to Karin Schaer (see
e-mail below), Director of Marketing at TBWA/Chiat, Big Brother was
played by David Graham.  There doesn't seem to be a lot of information
out there on Mr. Graham.  I believe this is his entry at the Internet
Movie Database (IMDB):
