Ford Motor was a private company at its founding -- and until the end
of 1955. For a sense of its mission we have to rely upon historians.
In David Halberstam's book, "The Reckoning" (1986) he notes that the
company was capitalized with $150,000 and that John Gray, was
appointed president, being the largest shareholder of the original 14
investors.

According to Halberstam, there were early arguments over whether to
build cars in the $2,200-$4,700 range or build a low-cost vehicle for
the masses. "Even Ford's father was wary of his move to a popular
car; he warned his son that the market would be glutted if he went to
more than 35 cars a day."

Simply stated, Henry Ford's mission was a simple, inexpensive vehicle
affordable by all. Early models of the Model T were built and
delivered this way -- and included tools so that farmers and others
could repair and tune their own cars. Due to Henry Ford's commitment
to hiring talented engineering and efficiency experts, Model T prices
were:
1911: $780
1912: $690
1913: $600
1914: $550
1915: $360

For a look at the current the current mission statement, it's off to
the Ford Motor website where a search for "mission statement" gives
you a precise definition:
"Our Mission
We are a global family with a proud heritage, passionately committed
to providing personal mobility for people around the world. We
anticipate consumer needs and deliver outstanding products and
services that improve people’s lives."

The Ford web page puts the mission statement in the context of company
vision and values:

Note that each of the Ford divisions have mission statements that
support the corporate mission.

Google search strategy:
"Ford Motor" + CEO + history
