I want to know how to calculate the area of a property lot given a
description like this: "beginning at a stake...; thence South 61
degrees 16 minutes West 91.27 feet to a stake; thence North 24 degrees
48 minutes West 57.47 feet to a stake; thence North 58 degrees 42
minutes East 86.58 feet to a stake; thence South 29 degrees 34 minutes
East 61.28 feet to the point of beginning." I have a few such items to
figure out, so a generic hand method or online calculator would be
good.
