Pink, you answered my question here: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=503139 and never returned to post an "answer" so if you would be so kind as to post an answer to this perplexing question, I will be able to pay you for the other question. Thanks |

Thank you very much for your generosity! Regarding the matter of avian migration, it is my belief that the chicken crossed the road for the same reason Mallory climbed Everest: because it was there. Had the road not been there, the chicken would have been cross. In a fowl mood. Henervated. Tired and feathered. Eggs-aspirated. Please excuse my "tongue-in-beak" answer; $10.00 is no poultry sum. Best of cluck, Pink |

rated this answer:![]() Thanks for the answer(s). Is there any easier way to get a researchers attention after they post a comment? I couldn't think of any other way to pay you other than close the original and open this one. Thanks again! |

Many thanks for the five stars and the tip! Regarding the matter of getting a GAR's attention, often if you post a comment attached to the original question, a colleague will notice this and mention it to the appropriate GAR (many of us keep in touch with each other). But the best way is posting a new question with the Researcher's name in the title, as you have done. |

Here?s an old Liverpool variation of this perplexing question. Q. Why did the chicken cross the road softly? A. Because it couldn?t walk hardly. |
