Hi-
Because we're planning a wedding, i haven't had time to plan something
special for my fiance's birthday on thursday, aug 25th!! can you help
with ideas? i'm looking for something very fun, interactive,
different, adventerous, and exciting to suprise her with, so we can
both 'de-stress!' for example, i heard about trapeeze lessons, flight
simulators, flight lessons around chicago, etc. i'd love to suprise
her with something really fun and new like that. help, pleeease!!!

hi guys!

wow! thanks for all the great input!! i very much appreciate it. so
where am i at? well, we're having dinner with her fam on thursday,
where i'll try to hook up some live music (guitar/violin) at the
restaruant. then it turns out that a good friend of mine is
suffereing from cancer, so we're going to see him on friday. sunday
is our day together at the lake house, where i think what i'll do is
either send her to a spa for half the day, cook her dinner, pack a
picnic, etc. or, i may just give her a massage on my own (we just got
a new massage table). she does want to spend time with me, quality
time, so i don't want to send her off for a day. but also what i'm
thinking, is that while she's at the spa, i'll write and finalize our
wedding vows, so that'll be one more thing off the list, and it'll be
special that i'm writing them. of course they wont be final, i know
some of you might say that that's not what every girl wants, but i
know that she'd love that effort on my part. so, given that, is there
anything else that you can think of that might make that relaxing day
a bit more special?? thanks, all, sooooooo much for the input!!! i
definately will do the flying thing soon, i appreciate all the
comments regarding that- i know she'd love it, but my bank account is
SMALL these days!!! thanks again,
bob leoni ;-)

Hi there...
If she's not afraid of heights, and if the weather and your environment
are safe for it, think about taking her on a surprise Hot Air Ballon Ride.
Should be pretty safe, as long as you stick with a reputable outfit, and
stay away from those summer thunderstorms. You can go up, enjoy the tre-
mendous view, pop a glass of your favorite beverage, take some pictures
with your digital camera, then come down and "chill" on the ground with a
nice picnic lunch...
anyway... i'm just thinkin out loud..
adios...

Bob,
I think that is a great solution: family, personal, appropriate
effort on your part with the wedding vows - putting thought into what
they mean, what you want them to mean. I like it. It has be fun
trying to help, and I hope the day AND the wedding and your future all
work out!
