THIS IS A REPEAT i inadvertently and incorrectly mis-spelled your
name. My apologies!!
Hi Palfalafa. Do you remember some time back you located me some Rolex
Watch links?? I am now trading on eBay as : bellbiz and need more of
these for my eBay store BellBiz Bargains. I need you to check that
store out and tell me if you think those links would be saleable from
my eBay store. So my question is: can you check your past records and
give me the name of that rolex link supplier you gave me earlier, and
also make any suggestions for the sale of those links via my eBay
store. Thanking you and best from: bellboy |

Hello mate.
It's nice to see you back here....been a while.
Please take a look at this link:
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=183725
as I believe these are the links-to-the-links that you've asked about.
I just want to confirm that this the old question you're referring to.
Once I hear back, I be glad to have a look at your site as well.
Cheers,
paf

Hi Paf and yes it has been a while. And yes that is the old thread I
was talking about. Glad you remembered it. So if you can give me those
details again and have a quick look at my eBay store and tell me if
you think my eBay store would be suitable I will consider this
question answered. I may pose some other questions in due course which
I will specifically give to you and I am presuming it (still) ok to do
that. I notice you made a comment on another question I posed about
paint pigments not too sure about that now but we were thinking of
retailing artist paint in the ebay store as well. I am not sure if I
am allow to give you an outside email contact address for me in case
you need to send me any attachment or anything. I am a bit rusty about
how GA works as it has been a couple of years I reckon. No doubt you
still have your finger on the pulse so I will leave myself in your
capable hands Paf. Cheers: bellboy

bb-ga,
I'm not sure quite what you mean by the "details" of the other
question, all of which are at the link itself. But just in case, I'll
post them here as well:
==========
Here's the best that I've come up with:
http://www.tnsdiamonds.com
TNS Diamonds, on 8th Street in Philadelphia, otherwise known as
Jeweler's Row.
You can see pictures of the store (outside and in) at the link here:
http://www.tnsdiamonds.com/tourtns.htm
Andrew at TNS Diamonds tells me he has two options that would suit
your needs:
After market 18k gold links at $135 each -- these are not original
Rolex, but I'm told they are indistinguishable.
Genuine 'recycled' Rolex Links are about $195 each, but vary a bit
depending on what year watch you are buying for -- there have been
minor changes in recent years, but both older and newer links are in
good supply.
Of course, there are additional fees for shipping.
You can contact Andrew at TNS Diamonds at:
TNS Diamonds Inc.
104-6 S. 8th Street
Philadelphia, Pa 19107
215-922-1501
1-800-586-1792
diamond.watches@verizon.net
==========
As for your site, it looks fine, and I can't see any reason not to
include the links for sale, along with the watches and such. The
links are a bit pricier than most of your other items, but then again,
not quite in the same leage as the roulette table!
Maybe I've gotten a bit rusty over the years, but I'm not really sure
what sort of information you're looking for at this point. Let me
know, and I'll do my best.
Cheers,
paf

You know Paf Bob used to to always say that the DaVinic code would one
day make a movie. He said that the -Bell- would ring, bizness would be
done. And probably in Australia, hey...pretty astute our mate Bob
is..I am sure you agree. I gave him my email address but he must have
lost it as I am sure he would have contacted me by now. Never mind I
digress. The other pigments I will let you know about in due course i
am just researching this now. And looking forwared to your next
communication. Cheers : BellBoy

Yep, I have to admit...I'm a mite confused at this point!
Let's take things one at a time:
1. I reposted the original information on the Rolex links (above, on
May 25). I'm not clear what more (if anything) you still need on
this, so please spell it out for my poor, addled, researcher brain.
2. Similarly with the pigments question, it would be a help to let us
know if you have what you need, and if not...what else we can do for
you.
3. Who's Bob?
4. Please don't post your email address here, as it is against GA rules.
5. You're right about the email notifications. Customers used to get
a message, but that feature is broken, I'm afraid. Hopefully, it will
get fixed soon.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi David and if you recall I'm Roger if you prefer.
In an effort to clarify things allow me to comment on your comments in
the order in which you made them:
1: Nothing more is required here except to say our communications were
not quite as restricted back then as they seem to be now and by
mentioning this I thought I would prod your memory of that
transaction.
2: The pigment info that YOU provided was quite useful and resaonably
satisfactory for the time being. I really would like to close off that
question and tip you, but I am now quite sure how I can acheive that.
If I close the question I cant very well tip, and if I say you have
answered I am forced to pay a tad more than i would want to for the
info provided. I also wondered how the original researcher might feel
about this. Please give me some advice on how I can achieve my
objective of wanting to express my appreciation for YOUR comments but
not necessarily wanting to accept that the question has been answered
totally to my satisfaction.
3: Who is Bob? I'll give you a CLUESO you can work it out. Please read
the previous sentence again -slowly- pausing after each word starting
with -c-. Bob is our mutual friend although I have been out of touch
with him for some time. It was Bob who assured me that you were
-theMan- who could best handle my research. He contacted me via eBay
and said you were the best researcher!
4: I am at a loss to find the right words here. Indeed it was this
point that I was trying to make admist all my banter.. but not to
worry too much. Bob by the way was my first eBay customer. I now have
over 3,000 successful transactions with 100% positive feedback.
5. Yes I could not agree more it is a much more streamline operation
when you are notified that a comment has been made or clarificaiton
required.
Ok over and out for now David. It might be a day or three before I get
back to a computer as I am needing to go to my remote property
tomorrow for a few days.
Best from: Roger -bellboy-
