the boat is 23ft long, and has 2 50hp Johnson outboard motors.
Johnson only made the 50hp, white, V4 motor for 3 years, 1956-1958.
the boat was a "wizerd" or a "Bellboy" cabin boat and they made them
from 1954-1962. there was a small tanker ship that went with them for
refulling and repaires. the 23ft boat had to be put on the tanker for
repairs once during the crossing. to bad, they were hoping for a none
stop trip. there were 3 men on the boat. i saw the program around
1990, but dident look to see what chanle it was or program. to bad.
it was on tv and it was a great show. the show was 1/2hr long. i
tried to contact Johnson to see if maby they sponsered it. cound not
get thrue to them. ITS OUT THERE SOMWARE. i have a 25ft boat but
for a 23ft cabin boat bilt back in the 50s to do somthing like this
and make it is realy somthing. hope this helps. ps: there were
shots takin from the tanker and some from the boat itself wile on
rute.

Hello leakinleana2-ga,
I have found the story of the first outboard motor crossing of the
Atlantic in a 22-foot boat that you describe. I can provide you with
information about the designer and builder of the boat and the
shipyard where it was made. I can provide you with the names of the
people who made the trip from Denmark to New York. I can give you some
leads for people you might contact to get additional information about
the trip.
I have not been able to locate any information about the documentary
film that you?re searching for but the resources I?ve found might be
sufficient for another researcher to locate it.
Will you accept the information I?ve found as a partial answer? If you
don?t think it?s worth the full price you?ve posted for this question,
you can adjust the amount.
Please let me know how you want to proceed.
I look forward to your clarification.

Hello leakinleana2-ga,
I believe that silviares-ga has found what you're looking for. The
information he posted in his clarifications on your other question
shows that he has tracked down the same information I found regarding
the first outboard motor crossing from Copenhagen to New York. He also
seems to have found the film you're looking for. I look forward to
seeing his answer.
All the best.
