Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Here's another question I also found quite bizarre: Q: Can a liver move in the fridge? http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=750884 Best regards, jackburton |

Richard, I had never read that Shoaib question before... I was really missing out. Even better than his origional question, his followup question: "so therefore I want to know that what type of romance Munch is doing with that totally nude female vampire either he is doing sexual intercource or kissing only with that totally nude female vampire ?" is far better :) And his 17 comments/notes to Pafalafa are indeed a work of art. I laughed, I cried, they moved me. Thank you for pointing me to that question! |

In my opinion this one is the strangest question ever. The customer wanted help finding a company that would help him build a time machine to his specifications. To provide a little background on the question that isn't apparent now, the customer first placed an extremely high fee on it. Because he was obviously misguided and perhaps even, well "confused"m I encouraged him to reduce the fee to $2 and settle for a friendly comment in lieu of an answer. It went unanswered because I simply felt it would have been wrong to take his money. http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=220163 Besides that, if I "had" pointed him to a company to help him build a time travel machine and he "was" successful, he could easily have gone back in time to the point BEFORE he answered the question and taken his money back, couldn't he? Think about it. ;) tutuzdad-ga |

Jack, I personally loved this comment of his more: "Pafalafa researcher please note that I need a little more clarification about female Vampires and this clarification is important for me. Please note that I have plan to stay for one night in the haunted house along with my team members. So therefore I want to know that how will I encounter female Vampire(S) in that haunted house and that female Vampire(S) will attack on me so as to suck my blood and how should I defend myself from that female Vampire(S) ? I need general information about those questions. Thanks for that help from Shoaib." With his team members? What, like the A-Team? He's asked a few questions about ghosts and haunted houses. I wonder.. Maybe his search for a loan is so that he can build a haunted house, and he's planning on populating it with some ghosts and vampires that he will hunt and catch? Anyone else have any clues as to what his plans may be? And Pafalafa's reply was priceless: "Sounds like you're headed for quite an adventure, but to tell the truth, I haven't a clue how you should proceed, since all I did was find some pictures for you. That hardly makes me an expert on dealing with femal vampires, I'm afraid." HA! |

Wow! I'd missed the Vampire Question and Paf's marvellous Answer. You know, I'd always been a bit suspicious of Paf ... He always seems to know far more than any mere human should about everything. More Worried than Ever from Hove |

Well, I don't know what the answer to this question should be, but I'm certainly taking vicarious pleasure in the discussion thus far. And much to my surprise, not a single commenter has yet speculated as to whether pafalafa-ga and shoaib-ga are actually one and the same person... |

Well, only two nominees so far. We may have to wait until the end of the month before declaring a winner, if this is the pace we're going to set. Keep 'em coming, folks! |

Here's another nomination: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=117249 It was one of a series that was asked by Googel-ga (Wonder how he thought of that name?) seeking opinions on a Dental Floss holder that he had invented. |

I nominate "What would I need to do to get my friend's mom in bed with me?" as a contender. Paired with the question that soon followed, "What is the best way to get a girl to make a home porn with me?", we could have a winner. Paf, "And much to my surprise, not a single commenter has yet speculated as to whether pafalafa-ga and shoaib-ga are actually one and the same person..." NO WAY! Shoaib's style is inimitable. I was rather taken by Brudenell-ga's series of questions about pay toilets, which Politicalguru answered so well. |

This was an odd one for me. The customer decided he wanted to identify a strange green symbol he saw floating on his hand whilst he was at work. He felt compelled to have the symbol tattoed onto his foot, even though he had no idea what the symbol represented. I took on the case, and managed to answer it --with the help of one of world's leading researchers on medieval magic! Q: meaning of an unknowen symbol http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=309070 http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=319072 |

In addition to the penguin poop question (mentioned above by Bobbie), I found this question to be rather strange and interesting to research: Why are pigeon's feet seldom normal? http://www.answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=344307 |

I've been reviewing questions in my spare time and I'm convinced I need to recast my vote please. This one takes the cake: >>>"What speed would a bag containing an average sized faeces have to be travelling, in open space, to be capable of cleanly removing a human head ( including space helmet)?" http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=433736 No one dared answer it but one brave peanut gave it his best effort: >>>>"Well, one of my average logs is probably 0.5 lb. And then the little rabbit-turds that follow are probably 0.1 lb... (I hate those little guys...) However, a large portion of the mass comes from water. In space, the water would be gone, right? Wouldn't it turn to ice immediately and then sublime into gas? I may be wrong... ANYWAY, I'm guessing your log would lose about 50% or 60% of it's mass when it instantly dries out and freezes. Then, you have to decide whether to assume the log slowly dropped out of 'Uranus', or whether it was something like explosive diarhea, where the speed could be more like 10-20 mph. Either way, those speeds are pretty slow. For a 0.25 lb loaf, I'm guessing it would have to travel somewhere around 750 - 1000 mph in order to sever the head and helmet..." LOL! This one is way weird, and way funny too! I can't help but wonder what inspired the customer to ask it in the first place. tutuzdad-ga |

This one may not be the strangest of the strange, but it amuses me so. And I love the clarification. http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=432401 A friend of mine paired it up with a craigslist post offering a roommate for sale. There was even a picture of the roommate conked out on his bed. I'll always wonder if it was warhis behind that post. Did he get so disgusted that he decided to sell off that roommate and be done with him? hehe |

Oh yes, I loved that Day in the Life question, read from start to finish completely enthralled! Unfortunately, I don't see it as being very strange. I'm looking more for "wacko" questions, stuff that someone quote-unquote normal wouldn't really think of asking. Thanks for the good try, though! |
